The Esperantic Studies Foundation has established the Humphrey Tonkin Fund for Innovation, in honor of the more than 50 years of Professor Humphrey Tonkin’s exceptional commitment to ESF’s work supporting scholarship, linguistic justice, and education.

La Esperantic Studies Foundation starigis la Fonduso Humphrey Tonkin por Novaj Iniciatoj, honore al la pli ol 50 jaroj de la escepta engaĝiĝo de Profesoro Humphrey Tonkin al la laboro de ESF por subteni akademian studadon, lingvan justecon kaj edukadon.

Please donate generously as a tribute to Humphrey to assure projects he is passionate will have the funding they need.

Donations designated to the Humphrey Tonkin Fund for Innovation will be allocated by the ESF Board of Directors, in his honor, to deserving projects. Existing projects that need additional funding and new projects are eligible.

Thanks to a pledge from an anonymous donor, if our donation goal of $10,000 is achieved by the end of 2023, all donations from first-time donors and increased donation amounts from existing donors, like you, will be matched.

To help meet the $10,000 challenge, please make a special donation to the Humphrey Tonkin Fund for Innovation in both 2022 and 2023.
