US Summer Esperanto Program 2021

“Let’s Jump Into Esperanto”, a Post-beginner course with Hans Becklin.

July 5-9 and 12-16, 2021
5:30-7:00 p.m. US Eastern time
15 hours of instruction and interaction

Course limit:  20 participants

Cost:  $79.00

Financial help in the amount of $50.00 is available.  If you need financial aid, contact Ellen Eddy (eddyellen@aol.com)

This course is for people who have already completed a basic course like Duolingo or Lernu, and the goal is active language use.

What's a “post-beginner” course? A post-beginner course is for every Esperanto-learner who has already finished a basic course like Duolingo or Lernu! In practice, a post-beginner course will help you jump in to Esperanto, or begin to use the language more independently and to attain your own language learning goals. In Hans's course you will reach a new level of Esperanto through a deeper understanding of its grammar and new and more intensive experiences in reading, speaking, and listening. Fortunately, Hans's energy-filled teaching will help you progress without boredom–he uses stories, songs, games, and exercises to teach the language and give you a real experience of the colorful Esperanto community.

In this course you’ll learn ways to hear, speak, read, and write in Esperanto with greater self confidence.  You’ll find ways to increase your ability to communicate in Esperanto with enjoyment and without stress.  And we’ll cross the threshold together.
