NASK: North American Summer Esperanto Institute

US Summer Esperanto Program 2021, Spring Session

This year NASK and Esperantic Studies Foundation will offer virtual sections of the traditional summer Esperanto program.

One course will be offered in the spring, in addition to the usual summer program.

“Kiam Pentrarto Renkontiĝas kun Esperanto” (When the Art of Painting and Esperanto Meet), A2 level course, with Christophe Chazarein-Béa, from France.

“As a language learner, you want to gain more confidence in Esperanto  in order to communicate better and express yourself.  That’s exactly what you can do, thanks to this course.  But it will be more than just a language course, as we approach Esperanto through the theme ‘The Art of Painting’.

I invite you to join a walk through art history.  Together, we’ll use pictures and paintings to learn Esperanto, and we’ll use Esperanto to learn about art.  There will be a mixture of vocabulary with art forms, and grammar with colors.”

Recommended language level for participants is A2 for speaking and written comprehension.  The A2 level is right at the transition from Beginner to Intermediate.  If you’ve completed Duolingo, or have mastered most of the introductory material it presents, this course is likely right for you.
